What A.B.A.T.E means to me.
When I first heard about A.B.A.T.E. I was recovering from a motorcycle accident. I was visiting the Millersville VFW with my father when I first saw A.B.A.T.E members. They had stopped by the VFW as an annual stop on the PA Wounded Warrior Ride. After talking to the A.B.A.T.E riders and receiving more information on the local chapter, my curiosity grew and I decided to learn more.

Freedom Weekend will take place at the Mechanicsburg Club Picnic Grounds from Noon, Saturday, May 20th until we roll out for the Rights Rally on Monday, May 22nd. The address is 80 Glendale Drive, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050. The cost is only $20.00 per person.

On March 21, 2017 Megan Ekstrom, Vice-President, Government Affairs of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation sent a letter to Michael Griffith of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Office of Safety. The letter was about the concerns the MRF has with the ten positions on the Motorcycle Advisory Council (MAC). Past Motorcycle Advisory Councils had four motorcycle associations represented out of the ten seats. read more...
MRF APRIL UPDATE

I wanted to start off by talking about the Motorcycle Advisory Council (MAC). MAC is supposed to serve and advise the Federal Highway Administration on issues critical to motorcyclists across the nation. The intent of MAC was to give motorcyclists the opportunity to discuss how we are affected by highway design, and the emergence of intelligent transportation systems. read more...
