ABATE of PA has a new website! It was several months in the making, and the result of many hours of planning and effort by Webmaster Jayne Challinor, Project Coordinator Kevin Snyder, and Steve Zurl. Technical expertise & design on the project was provided by RedTail Productions LLC.
The beta site was introduced at the Leadership & Legislative Seminar, and after many hours of testing and review, it was formally put in to production.
The most noticeable change to the site is the implementation of E-Commerce. ABATE Products are now available for sale in the Online Shopping section. And, you can now use the web site to take care of all your ABATE of PA business in one place. New memberships, membership renewals, and tickets can now be purchased securely using industry-standard PayPal. You can even contribute to BikePAC through the site.
ABATE’s commitment to the web began 7 years ago out of a need to provide members with current and consistent updates. It continues to provide a place where non-members can go to find information on ABATE’s purpose, mission, and accomplishments. It gives non-members an opportunity to locate a chapter and join. It provides a place where the legislators and the media can go for Official Position Statements and contact information.
Since the inception of ABATE of PA’s web presence, ABATE has used the latest web-based technology to keep the organization on the leading edge. Set your homepage to www.abatepa.org to keep up on all the news related to ABATE and motorcyclists’ rights!
