Frankel is circulating a memo to all Members of the House of Representatives asking for co-sponsors for new legislation to reinstate a mandatory helmet law for all riders in Pennsylvania.
A.B.A.T.E. of Pennsylvania has responded with a mailing to the entire House asking them not to sign on to the Frankel bill. There is no bill number yet and probably won’t be until at least February.
However, it’s never too early for you to contact your House member and state, "I understand that Representative Dan Frankel is circulating a memo asking for co-sponsor for a bill to reinstate a mandatory helmet law for all riders. Please do not sign on to the Frankel helmet bill."
You can ask your legislator if they would like our lobbyist to stop by their office at the capitol to further discuss the proposed legislation.
