Between the Lines Editor
For those of you who haven’t heard, I am the new Editor for Between the Lines! First order of business is to thank Popcorn for her decades of work putting together Between the Lines. I have big shoes to fill.
I want to let everyone know the process to submit your articles and updates for the newsletter has changed. You can attach a Word or PDF document, or write your article in the body of the email and send to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please include your chapter name and district number. You can also submit your newsletter article on the new website. There is an article submission form at https://abatepa.org/editor where you can write your newsletter article, or attach a Word or PDF document, then click submit. The organization has just rolled out Office 365, and if you don’t already have an account, we encourage you to get one, which will make creating, archiving, and sharing your articles much more efficient.
Articles are due to me by the 8th of the month, or the article will not appear in the next month’s newsletter. The 8th of the month is a hard deadline; however, I truly appreciate it if you can submit to me by the 1st of the month. Please note that we do not publish photos with chapter articles.
A big thank you for the articles that were submitted to me for the March issue! Many chapters haven’t submitted an article for quite a while, find someone in your chapter to share your chapter’s accomplishments, events, and ideas with the rest of the organization.
Also, a huge thank you to Kevin Snyder and Dianne Evans for answering all my questions, I couldn’t have done it without you!
